DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY
The Department of History brought into existence since 1989. The Department started with 25 students and slowly the strength grew.
Today the Department offers History as one the subject in B.A M.A. (History) courses. Four members are working in History Department. All the Faculty members’ are actively involved in research and teaching. Members of the faculty are specialized in Ancient, Medieval, and Modern History. The Department regularly invites scholars both in history and other related disciplines to give talks and lectures to faculty and students and makes a special effort to reach out to college lecturers of the many affiliated colleges of the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University, Aurangabad.
The Department Of History started History Research Center from 2021 .affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University, Aurangabad.
“The department is conducting trans research in the field of history. Deparment also arranges seminars, lectures, and different program to provide guidance to students through resource persons to build a future or go for higher studies.
“Provide information about the competitive examinations and their importance to the students.
“Department started certificate course in local history to provide knowledge of local history for their future of learners.
“The department arranges educational tours for the students every year.
“The students of department actively participate in different programs organized at college and university level.
