Department of Botany
The Department of Botany started in our college in the academic year 2018-19 offering a B.Sc. in Botany, with a vision to conduct innovative research, teaching, and outreach on the patterns and processes of life with a focus on plants and their environment.
Our mission is to foster an environment of excellence by attracting and supporting the outstanding students, facility, and staff needed to sustain our vision.
We focus on the pattern and processes that enable predictive understanding of plant and their environment at local regional and global scales, leading to strength, in the areas of ecology, evaluation, and systematics.
The department conducts various activities regularly.

Visit diverse area and study diverse plants
Students prepare regular tours and field reports.
The Department is looking forward to offer Botany at Post- Graduation and doctorate level.
Promote the importance of plants and its uses by organizing Seminars/ Webinars etc.
Start some Certificate courses for bridge the gap for slow learners.
