DEPARTMENT OF HINDI
Department of Hindi was established in the year 1989. Two faculty members are fully qualified with Ph.D. degree. Dr. Nadaf A.G is the Head of the Department.
He (Dr. Nadaf A.G) joined his services as a lecturer in 1992. He is M.Phil. in Hindi subject in the appointed year. Dr.Syed Iqbal Majaz has been appointed as a lecturer in 1995.
The department has completed 33 years now.
Nearly 4000 students have got the B.A degree with Hindi subject. Many students are doing job as school teachers in Aurangabad city. Some students are doing B.Ed., some are working as journalists. This is the path of development of the department. The average passing percentage of the students of Hindi ranges between 70 to 75%. The faculties always ready to do everything possible in favor of students success. So the department organizes activities regularly to promote the knowledge of the students.
In the last five year the member of the department have attended workshops, seminars, conferences and refresher and orientation courses for their personal development. One of the faculty member, Dr. Majaz is Ph.D. guide in Hindi subject. In last three year five student are awarded Ph.D. Degree under his guidance. Both faculties are the scholars of “Dakhani Literature” which is very rare in Hindi subject.
As the part of university work the faculty members participate as an examiner, paper setter, moderator as per the time table of the university we take test and Tutorial in the class. The faculty always ready to solve the problems of the students in syllabus related issues.
Next five years the Department of Hindi is planning to start M.A class and research center for hilly students. We will arrange workshop in Hindi subject and guest lectures to give the knowledge of the students by eminent persons.
