About the Department
The Department of Environmental Science coordinates the mandatory Environmental Studies curriculum for all Second Year undergraduate students across Arts, Commerce, and Science faculties, as mandated by the Supreme Court of India and UGC.
The department integrates theoretical modules on ecosystems, biodiversity conservation, pollution control, and climate change with experiential field projects in the ecologically sensitive Western Ghats and Marathwada plateau.

Field Projects & Environmental Action
Students undertake comprehensive local environmental project reports examining water quality of local Khuldabad water bodies (Pariyon Ka Talab, Khuldabad Lake), soil sampling, solid waste management, and biodiversity documentation.
